(Getting involved in Mission)

Jesus' last command to his followers on earth was "therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." Our urgent task is to work with Him in calling people "from every nation, tribe, people and language" to life and freedom in Christ's name.

We reach out beyond GWAC in partnership with people and organisations who are able to share the love of Christ and equip others to be disciples here and overseas.

We pray for and financially support several ministry partners. A GWAC contact person is listed in brackets for each of those partners. Please feel free to speak with these contact people at one of our Sunday Services. Alternatievely, further information about any of our partners can be obtained by contacting the GWAC Office. Several of our ministry partners not shown here are in sensitive regions; prayer and encouragement is also vital for them.

Dale and Rachel Barclay, Samuel, Eden, Joseph and Talitha- Sunraysia Parish (BCA)

Mark is preparing to go to Spain to serve in a church planting team. He has previously taught English short-term in Spain. Our hope and prayer is that he will have the financial support to be able to leave in the first quarter of 2010. It is our privilege to be part of what God is doing through Mark.

Andrew and Dominque and family are working with a small Anglican church in Barcelona. Andrew was a minister at Glen Waverley Anglican Church prior to serving with CMS. They do fabulous videos and regular email postcards!

Dale and Rachel Barclay are helping develope Sunraysia South Parish. Dale and Rachel were GWAC members in the 1990's, with Dale serving as youth pastor and training for ordination. GWAC has assisted in the 'Bible in the Bush' weekend at the end of October in 2008 and 2009.

Graeme and Nicky Chiswell, David and Michael - Monash University (AFES)

Lesley helps bible teaching and community outreach among urban poor in the Renca region near Santiago.

Joy is at Nungalinya College, which trains indigenous ministers and leaders. She coordinates language and literacy and does workshops in communities.

Graeme is senior staffworker with Christian Union at Monash Universtiy, where he disciples and equips Christian students to reach others for Jesus. The Chiswells are parishioners at GWAC.

Ken and Lye-Ping Lim -

Graeme and Jane Peters, Benjamin, Samuel and Martin -
Chile to Melbourne (CMS)

Ken and Lye-Ping reach out to overseas students at Monash Uni. Ken is a staffworker with Christian Union. The Lims are parishioners at GWAC.
