ABOUT GWAC

At GWAC, we are growing in our capacity to be and live as a Biblically functioning comunity.   Our Ministry Philosophy details how it is that we go about the business of doing ministry.  We believe that God has gifted all followers of Jesus so that the Body of Christ is able to exercise ministry the way God intends.  This gift-enabled ministry serves God by serving the church and helping others become part of the Church

Our Purpose is to be a Caring Community making, maturing and mobilising disciples of Jesus Christ, locally and globally
A key aspect of this is what it means to be a Mature Disciple (follower) of Jesus.  Five words help to focus what this means.  Basically, a mature follower of Jesus is someone committed to:

GRACE - acknowledging that we are saved by the grace of God in Jesus Christ.

GROWTH - in our understanding of and relationship with God through Bible study, Prayer and associated disciplines.

GIFTS - discerning and using the Gifts of the Spirit as given to each believer is crucial to serving the body of Christ.

GROUPS - the optimal context for care, nurture and service is in a small group.

GOOD STEWARDSHIP - appropriately using the various resources that God has given, to ensure that gospel work is done.  This involves individual and corporate stewardship

We provide a New Members Briefing regularly to help newcomers get involved in the life of our church and appreciate what it means to be a mission partner at GWAC:

Our Small Groups are an integral part of our ministry and aim to provide deeper, personal support and encouragement.

At GWAC you will not only receive ministry, but be encouraged to offer ministry to others with the gifts God has given you. With us, you can share in the joy of contributing to God's work in our community, our city and in the world beyond.

Why not join us and be a part of a caring community making disciples of Jesus Christ?
