Come and make friends with other international students and as well as get to know some Australians.  International Friends will also help you improve your English skills.

International Friends Outing

FUN

Come and have fun playing games, talking with people at an Australian BBQ, singing your lungs out at a karaoke night, enjoying the different multicultural nights run during the year, along with attending Australian weddings, bush dances and bushwalks. You might also like to join in the fun of our special activities which include: cross-country skiing, weekends away, day tours to scenic attractions, water rafting, camping and bushwalking.

Hear about the Christian faith.

WHEN

International Friends starts the year with a BBQ at 6.30pm on Friday 27 February -a relaxing opportunity to make new friends.

International Friends meets regularly on Friday nights from 7-10pm, about every four weeks. A tasty meal is provided. Click on the Events page for details of dates and exciting events planned for you. The year concludes with a Christmas celebration late November, which is very popular. Contact us now for details and to receive regular email updates.

WHERE

International Friends is held in Clayton, only a 5 minute walk from the Monash University bus loop in the Clayton Campus.  If you come by bus, we can arrange for someone to meet you at the bus stop (please notify us beforehand so that we can make the necessary arrangements). We are usually able to drive you home at the end of the night. If you live more than 20 km from Clayton please talk to us before the day of the meeting if you need transport home.

International Friends is an activity of the Glen Waverley Anglican Church in partnership with Monash Christian Union.
