Life Group Worship Resources

Have you ever wanted to spend time in your group worshipping God in song but not had the musicians or song books to make it happen? We now have DVD’s of worship songs that feature worship bands, lead vocals to help you sing along, scrolling lyrics and inspirational graphics. These DVD’s are available from the church and can be borrowed for group use by contacting Stephen Petering.

To help you choose the songs you want you will find an alphabetical listing of song titles and the DVD where it can be found on a PDf document. Also check out the helpful hints below for using the DVD’s in your group for group leaders. 

Helpful Hints for Group Worship

Always preview the songs before you use them in the group. Some of the tunes or arrangements will be different to what you and the group are used to.

There will also be songs you do not know. Help your group learn some new songs by playing the DVD, without lyrics, in the background as group members arrive. This will help them become familiar with them before you attempt to sing them.

Some songs have a musical interlude in them, so pre-warn your group and encourage them to spend those short moments by worshipping God or praying in the quiet of their own hearts until the singing resumes.
