As a church, GWAC is committed to helping people find a place of service where each person can use the gifts that God has given them. Our GWAC Purpose Statement highlights the importance of “…making, maturing and mobilising disciples of Jesus Christ, locally and globally”. The mobilisation of members of GWAC for gifted service is the focus of U-SERVE.

The objective of U-SERVE is to assist people in GWAC to learn about various serving opportunities as well as provide a process for connecting people with appropriate ministry leaders. GWAC’s Ministry Philosophy specifies that we as followers of Jesus Christ, are ‘members’ of the Body of Christ – that is, individually, we are an integral part of Christ’s Body here on earth. Just as there are many members of the human body, (arm, or leg, or eye or ear etc) there are many members of Christ’s Body and we have a special part to play in the functioning of the Body.
