Easy Does It
"Easy Does it” is a gentle exercise class for those unable to take on rigorous exercise. It is a peer led class and members are constantly invited to contribute to the development of the program through their feedback.
In this class there are no running, fast movements or jumping up and down – just simple movements that are as easy as walking. With regular practice these movements improve balance, muscle strength and flexibility. Most exercises can be undertaken sitting or standing.
Why start EDI? Doctors say it’s never too late to become more active and experience the benefits of gentle exercise. It is said that at least half of the age-related changes to muscles, bones and joints are caused by disuse.
